Applegate
Dr. Gregory R. Applegate is a graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine. He completed residencies in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine at the University of California Irvine. Following a year-long fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging at University of Pittsburgh he joined their faculty as Assistant Professor of Radiology in the division of magnetic resonance imaging. He is also a former Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of California, San Diego
Dr Applegate serves as Radnets Medical Director for MSK Imaging for Southern California.
He has lectured extensively nationally and internationally as a recurrent invited faculty member for the American Academy of Orthopedics, the International Shoulder Congress, the Metcalf Memorial Arthroscopy course and the Napa Course - Advancements in Shoulder and Hip Arthroscopy. He has also been invited to address the ISAKOS as well as the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. He has published extensively on the advanced applications of magnetic resonance imaging, primarily with emphasis on musculoskeletal applications. He published a textbook with four shoulder arthroscopists entitled, "Shoulder Arthroscopy and MRI Techniques"
